Alvin J Sims has been involved with self insurance since 1968 providing services to self-insureds and prospective self-insureds for feasibility studies, reinsurance, surety bonds, regulatory assistance and selection of service vendors.
We operate primarily in New England where we are licensed but can obtain non-residence licenses where required. We provide our services through brokers or directly depending on the client's wishes. Since reinsurance is a major component of an effective and successful program, experience and relationships with the reinsurers are essential. After thirty years of acting as a client's proponent but, at the same time, recognizing the vendor's right to honesty and integrity, we believe that we can provide our clients with the best available reinsurance plans.
