Self Insurance for Worker's Compensation has been a financial tool for corporations, hospitals and municipalities since the 1930s with Employee Benefits becoming viable for self insurance with the passage of ERISA in 1976. Self insurance offers control and flexibility and the tools for a safe work environment.
